Honeymoon visit
We were on our honeymoon to Rotorua.Part of our plan was to visit Whakarewarewa and Geothermal trails. It was an awesome experience My husband and I loved the place and the history that was revealed was interesting. Guess what?They also have AirBNB so you can try that too.The hot pool corn was sweet too. Worth your money.

Amazing!
Absolutely loved learning about the Māori way of life, and guided by an ancestral descendent & actual resident of Whakarewarewa village too! I enjoyed my geothermal walk as well (Earth really is a fascinating thing), though a little bit short and I actually found the geothermal activity seen when touring the village was more interesting than a lot of what’s going on around the trails. I’d happily just do the village tour next time!
