Ice skating
My 4 year old daughter stood on the ice, hated it and got off, they refunded my money so she could do tubing instead, which she absolutely loved.

Wairakei Estate Ice Rink
Easy to check in with prepaid Book Me email confirmation. Hireage of the skate frames affordable at $13 with $5 cash back on return. Only needed the frame for a short period until we got the confidence to skate without. Music was cheerful & family friendly. No time limit on skating which was great

Fun on Ice
Fun for an hour. Reasonably priced. A good holiday activity. Like all holiday activities, families need to get there early so it is not as busy and crowded.

Fun day out
The children had never ice skated before and wanted to stay all day. Great day had. Be aware there is an extra charge on top of the entry fee for the use of any balance items.
