We took the Milford Sound coach, cruise and walk with our amazing tour guide Jeff. While we had initially planned to drive ourselves to Milford Sound, we are so very glad that we did not.
Had we done the drive ourselves, it would have been a direct drive to and from Milford Sound, with the occasional scenic stop. Jeff was kind enough to show us hidden gems along the journey, and even some that were a little out of the way. We even had the opportunity to interact with a circus(!) of keas in the wild.
Jeff is a very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and passionate tour guide that spared no detail in telling the story of the land, people and animals infused with his brand of humour.
His energy is infectious and made this journey very very enjoyable. We highly recommend this tour!
