There’s no better way to experience its sheer beauty than by taking to the skies in a helicopter and enjoying a bird’s eye view of the stunning scenery. Don’t forget your camera as these views of Queenstown and Lake Wakatipu are not to be missed!

Should conditions allow, you’ll also get to experience a snow landing in the winter months and soak up the incredible views across Lake Wakatipu to the Southern Alps.

Erlebniswert

Ansich ist der Flug natürlich sehr kurz aber ein Erlebnis war es trotzdem. Wir hatten Glück, dass bereits Schnee lag und wir deshalb eine Schneelandung auf dem Berg machen konnten. Für etwas korpulentere Menschen bei voller Auslastung allerdings nur begrenzt empfehlenswert, da es sehr beengt ist.

Kurz, aber einmaliges Erlebnis!

Der Abholdienst von meinem Hostel hat super funktioniert und dann sind wir zum Queenstown Flughafen gefahren wo es nach einem schnellen Check-in und der Einweisung auch fast schon in den Heli ging. Man fliegt mit 2-3 anderen Personen maximal. Der Start war mein absolutes Highlight, das Gefühl war der Hammer! Dann sind wir nach oben auf einen Berg geflogen und haben dort 10 Minuten Fotopause gemacht (Unbedingt super dick anziehen -7 Grad) und dann auch schon wieder runter geflogen. Es ging alles so super schnell und ich bin mir nicht sicher ob es sooo lohnenswert ist. Vielleicht sollte man besser in eine andere längere Tour investieren. Das Team generell ist super nett!

Really nice experience, lovely staff. We were picked up and dropped off from out hotel which was great. Awesome flight over queenstown and an alpine landing on the remarkables. Would do again!
