  • Milford Sound Visitor Terminal, State Highway 94, Milford Sound.
  • Allow approximately 5 hours drive time from Queenstown or 3 hours from Te Anau.

Notes

  • Car parking in Milford Sound is $10 per hour, if parking in the main car park, please allow 10-12 minutes to walk to the terminal. There is free parking in Deepwater Basin, please allow 25-30 minutes to walk to the terminal. If you choose to self-drive, we recommend arriving into Milford Sound at least one hour prior to your scheduled cruise departure to allow sufficient time to find a car park and make your way to the Milford Sound Cruise Terminal. For further information about car parking please visit milfordsountourism.nz/parking

Great tour

The tour was great, I'd definitely recommend. A dairy free milk option would have been nice for the tea/coffee, but otherwise great hosting and of course the scenery is spectacular.

Average

Average experience, the actual cruise on the day was much smaller than the one advertised on their website. The cruise also approached a baby seal (who was by itself) too closely and completely scared the poor thing. It was nice to see misty milford sound but definitely not worth the prices we paid for. There are many other companies offering cheaper cruises for the exact same experience.

Very helpful informative staff. We managed to leave when it was raining but stopped 15 minutes into it . This created numerous waterfalls and atmospheric conditions in which created amazing scenery . Highly recommend
