Captain Gavin was a fantastic guide all around the the Bay of Islands, and through the Hole in the Rock! This cruise is a definite and fun must do activity when in Paihia!!!
Amazing Weather saw dolphins, seal, going through the hole was amazing not once but twice, the weather was perfect today. BUFFET lunch was okay, meat a little tasteless Wonderful view to sit for lunch So hot so didn't go for a walk
The boating experience was a 10/10!!! Buffet not so much. But the island where the restaurant was at was lovely. I’d recommend this experience, but check the discount pricing against the actual full price on their website.
We had the best experience! Weather was perfect. We're able to go through the Hole in the Rock. Lunch was plenty and yummy. Blair the skipper provided us with interesting facts. 100% recommend!!!

A Lovely Adventure
We really enjoyed our tour to the hole in the rock and Island stop over. It was such an interesting experience, seeing all the Island and hearing some of the history of the area. Our captain was full of knowledge and gave a personal touch to the tour. I loved seeing the seals on the rocks but sadly didn’t see any dolphins, but there was an amazing amount of fish and birds around the rock. We enjoyed our BBQ lunch ( both of us being vegetarians) enjoyed the variety of salads and vegetables. If I went again I would opt for the full day to allow us more time to explore the Island, as the views from the look out were stunning and we would have liked more time to explore, have a swim and relax with a wine. It was a lovely adventure and I would fully recommend the trip.
