Often referred to as the ‘Jewel of Wanaka’ this secluded and beautiful island is home to a range of native plants and boasts outstanding views across Lake Wanaka and it’s surrounding mountains.
Once on the island you‘ll be free to explore the grounds as you wish.
Take the opportunity to walk around the island for picture perfect photo opportunities, or simply sit back, relax and take in this magical environment and spectacular views around you.

Great trip
This was a great trip. After a short boat ride out, we had an informative guided tour around the island and the whole family had a great time. Took my 1year old and 3 year old and both loved it. Highly recommend.

Wanaka lake WOW!
Loved this little lake cruise to Ruby Island. Great for photos and learning a bit about the regions history. Toby our skipper and walk guide was a great host. Would like to do the other two island trips in the future.
